1. Who can use it

The platform is for qualified doctors and surgical trainees preparing for the FRCS (Urol) exam. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Access is personal to you.

2. What you get

• Part 1, the written question bank: our SBA question bank with timed mock exams. (The question bank and mocks are the Part 1 product.)
• Standard viva: our live AI voice examiner (our fast examiner) with 4–8 marking and feedback, on the full case bank: practice and exam-style scenarios and mock exams (fair-use limits apply; see Subscriptions).
• Premium viva: everything in Standard viva, plus a higher-capability examiner and deeper marking, and model-answer reveals.
• Pay-as-you-go credits: premium viva stations without a subscription: the premium examiner and marking only; model answers and the clinical library are not included. 1 credit = one station.
• The clinical library: crib sheets, the Urology Trials, clinical calculators, operative guides and the full "FRCS in 15" podcast library. Included with any Part 1, Standard viva or Premium viva subscription; not included with pay-as-you-go credits. (The public "FRCS in 15" feed is free to everyone.)

We may add, change, suspend or withdraw features, scenarios or tiers at any time, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

3. AI-generated content

The examiner, questions, feedback and marks are generated by artificial intelligence. They are intended to be realistic revision practice, but they can be inaccurate, incomplete or occasionally wrong. Use them as practice, not as a definitive assessment of your ability or knowledge, and never as clinical guidance.

4. Subscriptions

• Our subscriptions (Part 1, Standard viva and Premium viva) are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically each month until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from your account (Manage subscription) or by emailing info@thamesuro.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the current paid month. We don't refund part of a month once it's underway, except as below or where the law requires.
• 14-day refund: if you cancel within 14 days of your first payment for a subscription and have used no more than 3 viva stations, we'll refund that first payment in full. (We give you immediate access to digital content and services, so this is our own goodwill policy; it doesn't reduce your statutory rights.)
• We may change prices for future billing periods; we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel before the change takes effect.
• Fair use: a viva subscription is for one person's own exam preparation. Where practice is described as "unlimited", a fair-use ceiling of 100 examiner-led stations per calendar month applies. On Premium, the first 50 stations each month use the Premium examiner and any further stations that month continue on the Standard examiner (so you are not stopped at 50), up to the 100-station monthly total; the allowance resets at the start of each calendar month. Pay-as-you-go credits use the Premium examiner and do not count towards this limit. We may contact you about atypical or shared usage.
• Nothing here affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

5. Premium credits & payments

• Premium credits unlock premium features. 1 credit = one premium station.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe; prices are shown at checkout in GBP and may include VAT where applicable.
• Credits are for your personal use, are non-transferable, and (unless stated otherwise at purchase) do not expire.
• We may change prices for future purchases; credits you've already bought are unaffected.
• Refunds: credits are digital goods delivered immediately, so purchases are generally non-refundable once credits are used. If something goes wrong (a technical failure, a charge in error, or unused credits within 14 days of purchase), email info@thamesuro.com and we'll put it right. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.

6. Acceptable use & our content

All content (scenarios, model answers, questions, marking, design and the examiner) is our proprietary intellectual property, provided to you under a personal, non-transferable licence for your own revision. You must not copy, screenshot, record for redistribution, scrape, share, resell, or use the content to build a competing product. Access is logged and watermarked to your account.

7. Content you submit (your own cases)

By submitting a case (and choosing to share it), you grant us a licence to use it to provide and improve the service. Don't submit anything you don't have the right to share.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for exam outcomes, for reliance on AI-generated content, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Data protection

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms (for example, sharing content or misusing the service). You can stop using the platform at any time.

11. Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; the current version lives here. These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
